Introduction

Sudan is also called North Sudan as well as the Republic of the Sudan. The country is surrounded by Egypt, Libya, Chad, Central African Republic, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea and the Red Sea. The inhabitants use two official languages to communicate which are Arabic and English. The state religion is Islam.

The economy of the country strongly relies on oil production and is considered to be lower-middle income. The population of Sudan is over 41 million according to 2020 data with its density of 21 people per square kilometres. The total GDP (PPP) is $177.678 billion and $4,232 per capita.
