Officially known as the State of Israel, the country is located in Western Asia near the southeastern shore of the Mediterranean Sea. There are several land-bordering neighbours of Israel, namely Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt. There are also the Palestinian terrotories of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. The official language of Israel is Hebrew, and the capital as well as the largest city in the nation is Jerusalem. The region is characterized by its very high density due to small land coverage of 20,770 square kilometers. More about Israel Ukraine is a country located in Eastern Europe. With the land coverage of more than 603,000 square kilometers, it is the second-largest country in Europe. The only bigger one is Russian Federation.
