The Republic of Nicaragua is the largest country located in the region of Central America. Still, its total land area of 130,375 square kilometers is only 96th in worldwide rankings. It is bordered by only two other states, namely Costa Rica and Honduras. The capital and largest city in the republic is Managua, which is also the third largest city in the Central America region. More about Nicaragua Sri Lanka, officially known as the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, is located in South Asia. Interestingly, its previous name is Ceylon on account of being a British crown colony.  It’s an island in the Indian Ocean, specifically between the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea.
