World map with selected countries highlighted.
The nation of the Philippines is located in the western Pacific Ocean and it is considered an archipelagic country. There are more than 7,600 islands owned by the republic. However, in most cases they are divided into three main geographical divisions, namely Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The land coverage of 300,000 square kilometers is relatively low, especially if we take into account its large population. A gigantic number of recognized regional languages (up to 19) makes this place very diverse and, as a result, with two official languages - English and Filippino. More about Philippines Romania is believed to be placed at the crossroads of Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe. The land coverage of the nation is 238,000, which makes Romania the 12th largest nation in Europe. There are several neighbours with whom Romania shares borders. We can name Bulgaria, Hungary, Ukraine, and Serbia. Bucharest is the nation's capital and at the same time the largest city. More about Romania
