World map with selected countries highlighted.
The nation of the Philippines is located in the western Pacific Ocean and it is considered an archipelagic country. There are more than 7,600 islands owned by the republic. However, in most cases they are divided into three main geographical divisions, namely Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The land coverage of 300,000 square kilometers is relatively low, especially if we take into account its large population. A gigantic number of recognized regional languages (up to 19) makes this place very diverse and, as a result, with two official languages - English and Filippino. More about Philippines The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the second largest country in the Arab World. Most of the Arabian Peninsula is controlled by the nation. Located in Western Asia, Saudi Arabia covers more than 2.15 million square kilometers. As a result, it is also the fifth-largest nation in Asia and 12th-largest in the entire world.
