World map with selected countries highlighted.
The nation of the Philippines is located in the western Pacific Ocean and it is considered an archipelagic country. There are more than 7,600 islands owned by the republic. However, in most cases they are divided into three main geographical divisions, namely Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The land coverage of 300,000 square kilometers is relatively low, especially if we take into account its large population. A gigantic number of recognized regional languages (up to 19) makes this place very diverse and, as a result, with two official languages - English and Filippino. More about Philippines The Republic of South Africa, also known as RSA, is the southernmost country in the continent. It is one of the most important nations in Africa and in the entire world, being the 24th-most populous nation. Due to its large size, it does not have high density numbers. Interestingly, RSA has three different capital cities. The executive one is Pretoria, the judicial is Bloemfontein, and the legislative is Cape Town. Interestingly, these are not the largest - Johannesburg is the one with the largest population. More about South Africa
