The nation of the Philippines is located in the western Pacific Ocean and it is considered an archipelagic country. There are more than 7,600 islands owned by the republic. However, in most cases they are divided into three main geographical divisions, namely Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The land coverage of 300,000 square kilometers is relatively low, especially if we take into account its large population. A gigantic number of recognized regional languages (up to 19) makes this place very diverse and, as a result, with two official languages - English and Filippino. More about Philippines Timor-Leste has several names. It’s also known as East Timor and, more officially, the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. The country is an island located in Southeast Asia and Oceania with its size of about 15,007 square kilometres. Once, Timor-Leste was a Portugal colony with the name Portuguese Timor. Therefore, Portuguese is one of two official languages in the country, right behind the Tetum language. More about Timor-Leste
