Senegal is an African country located in the so-called Sub-Saharan region. More precisely, it is located in West Africa with such bordering nations as Mauritania, Mali, Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau. However, they also share borders with The Gambia, which is so small Senegal nearly surrounds them. The capital and the most important city in Senegal is Dakar. Noteworthy is the fact that the official language is French - the remnants of French colonizations. More about Senegal The Oriental Republic of Uruguay is a country in the southeastern area of South America. The land area of 176,000 square kilometers makes it the second-smallest nation in South America. As a result of that, it does not have many bordering nations. The only two are Argentina and Brazil. Interestingly, Montevideo is the largest city and the capital of the nation. It is so large that almost half of the population live in its metropolitan area. More about Uruguay
