South Korea is officially recognized as the Republic of Korea (ROK). It is a highly developed country located in East Asia, in the Korean Peninsula. As we can guess, it takes the southern part of the region and shares a border with only one nation, namely North Korea. The capital city of Seoul is the largest city in the country and the fifth-largest metropolitan area in the entire world. It is important to notice that the land area of South Korea is very limited and because of its large population, they are one of the most densely populated nations in the world. More about South Korea The nation of the Philippines is located in the western Pacific Ocean and it is considered an archipelagic country. There are more than 7,600 islands owned by the republic. However, in most cases they are divided into three main geographical divisions, namely Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The land coverage of 300,000 square kilometers is relatively low, especially if we take into account its large population. A gigantic number of recognized regional languages (up to 19) makes this place very diverse and, as a result, with two official languages - English and Filippino. More about Philippines
