Tanzania is officially named the United Republic of Tanzania. It’s located in East Africa within the region of the African Great Lakes. It is bordered by Uganda, Kenya, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Rwanda, Burundi as well as the Democratic Republic of the Congo. To the east, it is surrounded by the Comoro Islands and the Indian Ocean.
