Introduction

Angola is a country located in South Africa, in the west coast to be exact. It is the seventh-largest country in Africa with the total land area of 1.246 million square kilometers. Interestingly, because of its large population and size, and as a result of being a colony of Portugal, it is the second largest Portugese-speaking nation, only after Brazil and ahead of the actual Portugal.

The GDP PPP in 2019 was estimated to be at around $208 billion. As a result of its considerate population (around 31 million people), it gave them a GDP per capita of $6,850. It is a very low number, even for African standards.
