Introduction

Barbados is an island country located in the region of the Carribeans in North America. Its land coverage is only 432 square kilometers, and it is the most eastern-located island out of all the Caribbean islands.

The population of 287,000 ranks them as one of the least populated countries. However, due to its small size, its density is quite large - 660 Barbadians per square kilometers give them 15th place in terms of density. Their GDP (PPP) was at around $5.4 billion, which translates into GDP per capita of $18,800.
