Introduction

The official name of Brazil is the Federative Republic of Brazil. Located in South America, it is the largest country located there. It is also one of the largest and most populous nations in the entire world. The land coverage of Brazil is fifth-largest and it is around 8.5 million square kilometers. Due to the fact that it is a federal republic, the nation is divided into states and the Federal District.

Economy

Brazilian economy is 10th in the worldwide rankings. Their GDP (PPP included) is at the level of $3.2 trillion. As a result, it is ahead of Italy or Mexico, but behind France and the United Kingdom in terms of total annual value. The problem is the average wealth of a citizen, which is relatively low when compared to their total sums. The GDP per capita (PPP) is $15,300. Sadly, it is dramatically lower than in most of the developed countries. The average world GDP per capita in 2019 was at around $17,600.
