Introduction

The Republic of Cameroon is a country located in Central Africa. In spite of that, it has a coastline on the Bight of Biafra, which is a part of the Gulf of Guinea. They are bordered by such countries, as Nigeria, Chad, The Central African Republic, the Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and the Republic of the Congo.

Cameroonian economy is significantly better than other African nations in terms of total GDP (PPP included), because in 2019 it was almost $100 billion. However, due to a large population at the level of 26.5 million, their GDP per capita is only $3,800. Interestingly, their density is rather low - 40 Cameroonians per square kilometer - thanks to land coverage of almost half a million square kilometers.
