Introduction

Greece is a nation also known as Hellas or the Hellenic Republic. It is the country located in the Balkans, in Southeast Europe. It is said that the nation is located at the crossroads of Europe, Africa, and Asia. In terms of neighbours, they share land borders with Albania, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, and Turkey. The birthplace of democracy and a number of major scientific and mathematical principles. Greece has a relatively small land coverage, which is around 131,957 square kilometers. 

Economy

Greek economy has witnessed a lot of major decreases in the past several years. However, in 2019 the nation recorded an increase. As a result, their GDP (PPP included) is now said to be at around $329 billion. As a result, they are placed between Hungary and Finland in the GDP rankings.

It is important to notice that their GDP per capita was also improved. Until 2009, the average for Europe and Greece was practically the same. After the economic crisis, the growth was not only slowed down, but also the wealth of an average Greek decreased. The latest data from 2019 showed that the GDP per capita was around $30,700.
