Introduction

Located between Romania and Ukraine, Moldova is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe. The official name of the country is the Republic of Moldova. In 2020, its population was estimated to be at around 2.6 million. With the land coverage of around 29,683 square kilometers, it gives them a below average density at around 86 people per square kilometer.
