Introduction

The Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal is a South-Asian nation located mainly in the Himalayas. The landlocked country borders Tibet and India. It is also home for eight out of the world's ten tallest mountains, including the highest point on Earth - Mount Everest.

The total area of 147,500 square kilometers seems like quite a lot. However, when compared to its neighbours, it is a relatively small state. If we take into account its population that was a little over 28.1 million in 2019, it gives us a considerable density. In terms of GDP, its total value (with PPP included) is $94 billion, which is one of the smallest in the region when we include the GDP per capita value of $3,318.
