Introduction

Located on the southwest coast of West Africa, the Republic of Sierra Leone is a very tiny nation with approximately 71,000 square kilometers. Freetown is its largest city and at the same time the capital. 

In 2015, the population of Sierra Leona was a bit over 8 million. When combined with its total land coverage, it gives the average density when compared to other nations - 112 people per square kilometer. In terms of economy, the total GDP (PPP) is $12.177 billion. Sadly, it gives one of the lowest GDP per capita in the world with the value of $1,608.
