Introduction

Togo, or the Togolese Republic, is situated in West Africa and it’s surrounded by Ghana, Benin and Burkina Faso. The capital as well as the largest city is Lome which is an industrial centre of the whole nation. Moreover, French is an official spoken language. Believers are almost equally divided into Christians, Islamites and the followers of some traditional faiths, yet, Christianity is still considered to be a dominant religion. 

The economy of Togo is well-developed and it relies on an export of agricultural products, such as coffee, peanuts and cocoa bean. The total amount of GDP (PPP) is equal to $14.919 billion, whereas GDP per capita comes to $682.
