Introduction

Tuvalu is a Polynesian island of Oceania in the Pacific Ocean. Once, it also known as the Ellice Islands due to being a part of the British colonies. The country is located between Hawaii and Australia. Funafuti is both the capital and the largest city. Interestingly, Christianity dominates as a religion amongst the citizens. There are two official languages spoken in Tuvalu: English and Tuvaluan.

The economy of the country isn’t based on tourism since Tuvalu is a remote island. Seafaring is something which the Tuvalu citizens are focused on. The total amount of GDP (PPP) is about $39 million which gives us a number of $3,566 of GDP per capita.
