The Congo is the abbreviated name for two different nations, but the smaller one that became independent from the French colonial empire is the Republic of the Congo. It is located in the western coast of Central Africa with such neighbours as Gabon, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, and the Angolan exclave of Cabinda. The last neighbor is a considerably larger Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Interestingly, in spite of being just a city-state, there is a horrendous amount of people living there, making Singapore the second most densely populated nation in the world. There are four official languages, including Malay, Tamil, Chinese, and English.
