The Congo is the abbreviated name for two different nations, but the smaller one that became independent from the French colonial empire is the Republic of the Congo. It is located in the western coast of Central Africa with such neighbours as Gabon, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, and the Angolan exclave of Cabinda. The last neighbor is a considerably larger Democratic Republic of the Congo. More about Congo Zimbabwe is also known as the Republic of Zimbabwe. Previously, the official names of the country were Rhodesia and Zimbabwe Rhodesia. It is located in Southern Africa and shares the borders with South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Mozambique. Interestingly, the country has 16 official languages including English, Chewa and Kalanga. Harare is both the capital and the largest city. When it comes to religion, Christianity is a dominant one.
