The Republic of Costa Rica is a country located in Central America. With the capital city of San Jose and population of around 5 million, it is a very small nation, one of the smallest in Americas. The republic shares its borders with Nicaragua, Panama, and Ecuador. With a total land area of 51,100 square kilometers, it has a density of 85 people per square kilometer.  More about Costa Rica Japan is the country located in East Asia and it is known as an island country.
