The official name of Egypt is the Arab Republic of Egypt. Interestingly, it is a transcontinental country that spreads from the northeast corner of Africa to the southwest corner of Asia. As you probably know, Egypt is the country with one of the longest histories in the world. It is a unitary semi-presidential republic, governed by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. Two other important figures in the nation are the Prime Minister (Moustafa Madbouly) and House Speaker (Ali Abdel Aal). The land coverage of Egypt is quite large because it is around 1 million square kilometers.

Officially known as the Portugese Republic, the nation is located on the Iberian Peninsula in soutwestern part of Europe. As a result of its position, it is considered the westernmost sovereign state in Mainland Europe. The only sharing border they have (besides the enormous coastline with the Atlantic Ocean) is with Spain. The capital and largest city in Portugal is Lisbon. It is important to notice that it is one of the oldest nations in Europe.
