In the northern part of mainland South America there is Guyana. Georgetown is its capital city. With the official name the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, it is one of the smallest nations in South America - only after Uruguay and Suriname. More about Guyana Sudan is also called North Sudan as well as the Republic of the Sudan. The country is surrounded by Egypt, Libya, Chad, Central African Republic, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea and the Red Sea.
