Interestingly, this is a transcontinental nation because of the small portion of the country that is located west of the Ural River in Eastern Europe. However, most of the lands are in Central Asia. The territory has approximately 2.7 million square kilometers. In terms of neighbours, they share borders with Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.
