The official name of the nation is the Republic of Kazakhstan and it is one of the largest nations in the world. It is ranked 8th in the worldwide ranking. Interestingly, this is a transcontinental nation because of the small portion of the country that is located west of the Ural River in Eastern Europe. However, most of the lands are in Central Asia. The territory has approximately 2.7 million square kilometers. In terms of neighbours, they share borders with Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.  More about Kazakhstan The nation of the Philippines is located in the western Pacific Ocean and it is considered an archipelagic country. There are more than 7,600 islands owned by the republic. However, in most cases they are divided into three main geographical divisions, namely Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The land coverage of 300,000 square kilometers is relatively low, especially if we take into account its large population. A gigantic number of recognized regional languages (up to 19) makes this place very diverse and, as a result, with two official languages - English and Filippino. More about Philippines
