The Baltic state of Latvia is one of several small nations located in the Baltic region of Northern Europe. It shares borders with Estonia, Lithuania, Russia, and Belarus. The Republic of Latvia has almost 2 million inhabitants. Its capital and the largest city is Riga. More about Latvia Sudan is also called North Sudan as well as the Republic of the Sudan. The country is surrounded by Egypt, Libya, Chad, Central African Republic, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea and the Red Sea.
