Formerly known as Nyasaland, Malawi is a landlocked country located in the southeastern region of Africa. Its official name is the Republic of Malawi and is bordered by Zambia, Tanzania, and Mozambique. With the land coverage of 118,484 square kilometers, it is a very small nation.  More about Malawi Sudan is also called North Sudan as well as the Republic of the Sudan. The country is surrounded by Egypt, Libya, Chad, Central African Republic, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea and the Red Sea.
