The Netherlands is known as Holland. It is located in Western Europe and is neighbored by Germany and Belgium. The nation is divided into 12 provinces and it has two official languages, namely Dutch and West Frisian. Interestingly, there is also English as a secondary official language in the Caribbean Netherlands. The Netherland's largest city and at the same time the capital of the nation is Amsterdam.
