The official name of North Korea is Democratic People's Republic of Korea. It is a nation located in East Asia that inhabits the northern part of the Korean Peninsula. The country is neighboured by three countries, namely China, Russia, and South Korea. The largest city and at the same time the capital of the nation is Pyongyang. Interestingly, in spite of being very small in both size and population, DPRK is one of the most militarized nations in the world. We should bear in mind that in spite of claims of being a one-party republic, the nation is governed under a totalitarian dictatorship with the head of Kim Jong-un. More about North Korea Taiwan is officially known as the Republic of China and it is the neighbor of the People's Republic of China, Japan, and the Philippines. As we can guess, Taiwan is a country located in East Asia, which land consists mostly of the main island of Taiwan. The entire land coverage of the land is approximately 36,000, making it an incredibly small nation with a relatively large population. More about Taiwan
