The nation of the Philippines is located in the western Pacific Ocean and it is considered an archipelagic country. There are more than 7,600 islands owned by the republic. However, in most cases they are divided into three main geographical divisions, namely Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The land coverage of 300,000 square kilometers is relatively low, especially if we take into account its large population. A gigantic number of recognized regional languages (up to 19) makes this place very diverse and, as a result, with two official languages - English and Filippino.

The Republic of Singapore is a city-state that is located in Southeast Asia. Near it, we can find Malay Peninsula and Indonesian Islands. There is one main island with 63 minor ones. Interestingly, in spite of being just a city-state, there is a horrendous amount of people living there, making Singapore the second most densely populated nation in the world. There are four official languages, including Malay, Tamil, Chinese, and English.
