World map with selected countries highlighted.
The nation of the Philippines is located in the western Pacific Ocean and it is considered an archipelagic country. There are more than 7,600 islands owned by the republic. However, in most cases they are divided into three main geographical divisions, namely Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The land coverage of 300,000 square kilometers is relatively low, especially if we take into account its large population. A gigantic number of recognized regional languages (up to 19) makes this place very diverse and, as a result, with two official languages - English and Filippino. More about Philippines The United Arab Emirates (most often abbreviated to UAE or informally called Emirates) is the nation located in Western Asia, or to be more precise at the eastern end of the Arabian Peninsula. As a result of that, there are rather few neighbors like, for example, Oman or Saudi Arabia. However, we should also remember about its maritime borders that are possible due to the Persian Gulf. There, they share borders with Qatar and Iran. More about United Arab Emirates
