Senegal is an African country located in the so-called Sub-Saharan region. More precisely, it is located in West Africa with such bordering nations as Mauritania, Mali, Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau. However, they also share borders with The Gambia, which is so small Senegal nearly surrounds them. The capital and the most important city in Senegal is Dakar. Noteworthy is the fact that the official language is French - the remnants of French colonizations. More about Senegal Togo, or the Togolese Republic, is situated in West Africa and it’s surrounded by Ghana, Benin and Burkina Faso. The capital as well as the largest city is Lome which is an industrial centre of the whole nation. Moreover, French is an official spoken language.
