Senegal is an African country located in the so-called Sub-Saharan region. More precisely, it is located in West Africa with such bordering nations as Mauritania, Mali, Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau. However, they also share borders with The Gambia, which is so small Senegal nearly surrounds them. The capital and the most important city in Senegal is Dakar. Noteworthy is the fact that the official language is French - the remnants of French colonizations. More about Senegal Tuvalu is a Polynesian island of Oceania in the Pacific Ocean. Once, it also known as the Ellice Islands due to being a part of the British colonies. The country is located between Hawaii and Australia. Funafuti is both the capital and the largest city.
