The Republic of Turkey is a nation located in two continents, namely Asia and Europe. Being a transcontinental country, it is bordered by such European nations such as Greece and Bulgaria, as well as states located in Western Asia, including Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Iraq, and Syria. As a result, it has a large number of bordering nations. Although it is Istanbul which is the largest city, its capital is Ankara.

There, they share borders with Qatar and Iran.
