Introduction

In Central Asia, there is a landlocked republic bordered by such countries as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and China. The Kirgyz Republic, known as Kirghizia, was a part of the Silk Road and, in spite of its mountainous terrain, was an important economic centre.

Now, the nation is inhabited by more than 6.5 million people, according to the data from 2020. Their GDP (PPP) is at around $35 billion. As a result of that, their GDP per capita is $5,470. Noteworthy is the fact that it is quite a sizable nation, with a total land coverage of 199,951 square kilometers.
