Introduction

Yemen is located in Western Asia. The country is also known as the Republic of Yemen with a temporary capital in Sana’a. This is also the largest city. The second capital, Aden, is in exile. Arabic is the only national language spoken within the territory of Yemen. The major religion is Islam. in 2018 it was estimated that the population equalled 28,498,683 with its density of about 44 people per square kilometres. 

The total GDP (PPP) comes to $73.348 billion which gives us approximately $2,380 of GDP per capita. The most important economic sectors are services, industry and agriculture.
