Angola is a country located in South Africa, in the west coast to be exact. It is the seventh-largest country in Africa with the total land area of 1.246 million square kilometers. Interestingly, because of its large population and size, and as a result of being a colony of Portugal, it is the second largest Portugese-speaking nation, only after Brazil and ahead of the actual Portugal. More about Angola Officially known as the Portugese Republic, the nation is located on the Iberian Peninsula in soutwestern part of Europe. As a result of its position, it is considered the westernmost sovereign state in Mainland Europe.
