Due to its small size and very small population, the nation is considered to have the lowest population and population density in Central America. Still, due to its large population growth, Belize is considered to be one of the fastest growing populations in the Western Hemisphere.

The Congo is the abbreviated name for two different nations, but the smaller one that became independent from the French colonial empire is the Republic of the Congo. It is located in the western coast of Central Africa with such neighbours as Gabon, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, and the Angolan exclave of Cabinda. The last neighbor is a considerably larger Democratic Republic of the Congo.
