The Kingdom of Denmark is a country located in Northern Europe. It is a Sandinavian, Nordic nation that consists of a peninsula and a lot of named islands that create the archipelago. The total land area of Denmark is only approximately 43,000 square kilometers. However, due to low population, Denmark isn't densely populated either. The kingdom has a monarch, namely Margrethe II. However, in most cases it is governed by Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. More about Denmark Officially known as the Portugese Republic, the nation is located on the Iberian Peninsula in soutwestern part of Europe. As a result of its position, it is considered the westernmost sovereign state in Mainland Europe. The only sharing border they have (besides the enormous coastline with the Atlantic Ocean) is with Spain. The capital and largest city in Portugal is Lisbon.
