The Oriental Republic of Uruguay is a country in the southeastern area of South America. The land area of 176,000 square kilometers makes it the second-smallest nation in South America. As a result of that, it does not have many bordering nations. The only two are Argentina and Brazil. Interestingly, Montevideo is the largest city and the capital of the nation.
